Live Open Mic Night for Poets and Writers

Held every fourth Tuesday of each month. The idea is to provide a forum for writers and poets (in particular those who haven't yet found a writing/critique group) who would appreciate some general, immediate feedback on their work-in-progress (WIP), through perceived audience interest and reception.

Poets are limited to no more than three poems, not to exceed 1,000 words. Writers are limited to no more than four double-spaced pages (approximately 1,000 words) of their WIP. This gives you a chance to see if you need to re-tool what you're working on or if it's already succeeding, so don't be shy!

Because of the Coronavirus, we are taking extra precautions and asking attendees to wear masks. Contact us a week in advance if you'd like to take part.

GOOD NEWS! We have the following already signed up for January, so we're good to go:

Cherry Sanford (poetry), Rick Baird (poetry), Sue Fullmer (poetry), Kyle Cherpeski (poetry), and Ray Snipes (short story)

(We still have spots for about 7 more, if you're willing to share your prose or poetry.)
