Ben J. Gourley will be introducing his book Making Good Better: A New First Impression of Recovery.
Ben J. Gourley graduated in filmmaking from Brigham Young University and immediately began making feature films. In his career in the entertainment industry, he worked as an actor, producer, director, and writer making 4 feature films and shared a set with A list talent. After making 4 feature films it was time for a change. He went back to school to take the prerequisite courses to enter medical school. In that time Ben wrote, Making Good Better, a new approach to addiction recovery based on positivity and empowerment. Having struggled with addiction himself and seen the methods used by the majority of recovery programs, Ben recognized obvious flaws and deficiencies in the way America treats addiction. He decided to start from scratch and create a method to cure himself instead of being treated for the rest of his life as many programs do. In Making Good Better, Ben shares the strategy and method that worked to help him overcome addiction and move on with his life.
