In his second nonfiction book, Midway Bravery, Dennis W. Gaub relates the life history of U.S. Army Pilot Jim Muri, whose famed flight in his Susie-Q B-26 bomber helped win a decisive World War II battle--The Battle of Midway. Muri grew up in humble circumstances in Eastern Montana and went on to win the Distinguished Service Cross for bravery in one of the key battles in the Pacific during the war.

Gaub, now retired and living in Billings, Montana, was a newspaper reporter for 25 years after earning a degree in journalism from Northwestern University. While he'll be meeting with us virtually, he has provided several signed bookplates for those who order or buy the book.
